What a fascinating piece of TV history.  There’s such a lack of acceptance, and empathy in this.  Most of the crowd was focused solely on ridiculing the “other” rather than assessing or accepting the situation.  

Why is there such a pressure to fit into a specific mold of “normal”? I understand that perhaps the parents are concerned that there is an underlying reason why the kids are “acting up” but they don’t seem too interested in finding out what it is, and rather focusing on the outward appearance.
