Casa da Musica
Porto, Portugal
I’ve wanted to visit this place for so long, so I was excited to finally see (and hear, and experience) it up close. We even saw a free symphony about the Americas!
Casa da Musica is a great combination of many things I appreciate: modern architecture, urban design, music, and art.

Good News! I just met with the owner of the local Rota bar, La Calabaza Mecanica, and he liked my stuff! So come April, my photos and collages will be hanging on walls for my first ever solo exposition!
I am so happy right now. A big hug to everyone who has helped me get this far. Your support is immeasurable.

¡Tengo buenas noticias!

Sneak Peek: PolaRetratos

I don’t know if I have mentioned before, but I am working on putting together a collection of my work to present to an exhibition venue.
The exhibit would consist of three of my Polaroid/Instant Film projects:
-Placer Instantaneo (Instant Pleasure): a year in instant films
-PolaRetratos (PolaPortraits): People and Places
-Recuerdos Deshechados (Discarded Memories): reusing “trashed” instant films as raw materials for collage
This has been taking up a lot of my time and interest recently, and I am deeply excited to be able to put this together and share it with everyone. Wish me luck on securing the venue/s!
